Where Value Moves: Cracks, Clarity, and Human Edge in the Age of AI
How you're used to thinking will betray you in the age of AI
Let’s get honest about three comforting stories circulating right now — stories that might be risking your future:
“AI will handle the boring stuff, so I can focus on creative, high-value work.”
“AI can’t replace my creativity, so I’ll double down on that.”
“If I keep ‘learning AI’ I’ll stay ahead.”
All three feel logical.
But remember, our feelings are rooted in nostalgia, not facts — and can often deceive us in the age of AI.
To avoid the common trappings of this illogic, we must consider things from a systems POV. From that lens, those stories of convenience are now incomplete, hiding a bigger, messier picture:
Systems shift what was once valuable.
This isn’t just about jobs. It’s about the gravitational pull of value itself.
History backs this up:
Computers didn’t create “office jobs”—they made strategy, design, and leadership worth more.
The internet didn’t create “web jobs”—it made trust, storytelling, and brand worth more.
AI is multiplying this effect now… but only if you know where to look.
Here’s what almost nobody in AI is telling you:
Every “constraint” AI introduces is actually a blinking neon sign.
It’s saying: Human qualities—intuition, integration, context, wisdom—just went up in value here.
The real question isn’t, “What AI feature should I chase next?”
It’s:
What human specialty did AI just make more rare, and how do I become known for it?
That’s where your advantage awaits.
Not by running faster than the bots, but by stepping into the places where the new system strains.
What does it all mean?
Start looking for the fractures.
Find the constraints in the system (ex. where AI automation is having difficulty delivering value), and ask:
What can I do within that constraint to keep the system running smoothly?
What can I offer that is newly scarce, newly essential, and uniquely human here?
And how can that become my craft, my story, my specialty?
P.S. If this sparked something in you — an insight, an itch to rethink your own trajectory, or even a moment of discomfort — share it with someone who’s wrestling with the same questions. Let’s start a conversation about where value really moves and how, together, we can stake our place there.

so just like computers and the internet. AI won’t “create jobs”. it’ll just make discernment, conversations and authentic/immersive experiences worth even more.
so now more than ever, i have to be able to pick an intelligence that’s beyond the scope of this early realm (discernment) cos AI only uses info that the internet has access to
be ready to connect with people on a deeper level through the art of intelligent conversations (no one can benefit from others (or even from conversational AI) without being good in holding conversations)
and be more intentional about creating immersive and authentic experiences through contents, products, services and ideas (perhaps this is why live streaming and shopping are major trends right now)
what do you think?
this is really thought provoking i won’t even lie.
i need to return to my drawing board because this world’s canvas has changed.
